Blue Ice was approached by a successful London-based graphic design agency who asked whether we could build a website for one of their valued customers ASAP – ideally in less than a week!

Their client is a major property developer with many prestigious developments through the UK and Europe.

After asking some questions to get a better understanding of what was required, a proposal was put forward to build a WordPress website using a commercially available template as a starting point.

The advantage of using something like WordPress is that it is covered by an Open Source license and is essentially free to download and use.

The benefit of starting with a pre-made commercial template is that a lot of the hard work in coding and development has already been completed to a high standard. This was mindful of the requirement to complete the finished website in just 1 week.

The finished website benefits from a unique design that is completely in keeping with the official brochure produced by the graphic design agency.

There is a bold attention-grabbing headline on every one of the 12 pages.

A large slideshow is used to showcase pictures of the new development alongside images of the local area.

A site plan gives the layout of the full development and separate floor plans pages show the internal dimensions of each individual apartment.

The contact page has a contact form for prospective buyers to submit their enquiries and there is a link to download the official brochure in the footer of every page.
