Following on from the success of our first property development website, Blue Ice was asked to develop a second website for a new property development in central London.

Our client was the same successful London-based graphic design agency and their client was the same major property developer with many prestigious developments throughout the UK and Europe.

Once again WordPress was chosen as the software of choice to power the website. The advantage of using WordPress is that it is covered by an Open Source license meaning that it is essentially free for anyone to download and use. Using WordPress would keep costs down and reduce development time significantly.

Working from the official brochure a website design was created using a sleek and stylish colour scheme of blue, white and black.

The finished website benefits from 13 pages of highly relevant content. The home page has a large, quick-loading slideshow which showcases two computer generated images of the yet-to-be built property development as well as one picture of the local area.

The home page also benefits from integration of a YouTube video that was created by Blue Ice from a DVD that was supplied by the client.

Other pages describe the local area and transport infrastructure as well as a site plan of the entire development. There are 7 pages of floor plans as well as detailed dimensions and schematics of every one of 80 individual apartments.

A specifications page whets the readers’ appetites by describing in detail the many luxurious features of the new property development.

The contact page has a contact form for prospective buyers to submit their enquiries and there is a link to download the official brochure in the footer of every page.
